In the 1920's, my Great-Grandparents opened a chiropractic clinic in Tampa, Florida. Along with my Grandfather, Burton A. Pierce Sr., they treated patients in Tampa for over 20 years before moving to Jacksonville.

My Grandfather opened the first Jacksonville Pierce Chiropractic Clinic in 1943, establish-ing what is now the longest-practicing clinic in the city. My father, Dr. Burton A. Pierce Jr. and my younger
brother Dr. Mathew D. Pierce, now run the office with over
50 years combined experience.

Following in my father's footsteps, I became a fourth-generation chiropractor, sharing this legacy with a brother and cousin. For 10
years I worked in the family practice, and then opened Mark Pierce Chiropractic Clinic in March, 2000.

With appreciation and pride for my heritage, I look forward to
continuing to serve my community.
