Dr. Mark Pierce

Dr. Mark Pierce D.C., C.C.S.P., is a fourth generation chiropractor, experienced in chiropractic treatment and alternative health practices,including the highly specialized Atlas Orthogonal Procedure, since 1987.


Dr. Pierce is a graduate of the Life University in Atlanta, Georgia and received his Altas Orthogonal certification in 1988. He is also a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.

Dr. Nancy Short

Dr. Short was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Her family resides in Indiana. She is the 6th of 8 siblings, and has 16 nieces and nephews. She is the first college graduate in her family. Like her father, James F. Short, her undergraduate degree is from Indiana State University, where she graduated magna cum laude.


Her Bachelors degree is in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training. While at Indiana State, she served as athletic trainer for the 1999-2000 Men’s basketball team and completed an internship with the Detroit Redwings. She also holds a Masters degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training. Her Masters degree is from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While in graduate school, she completed research that was later published in the Journal of Athletic Training in 2004.
